I just returned from my trip to Namibia. The trip was booked at the Toronto show. The show was great and it allowed me to meet lots of great outfitters and to book with die Keiler. Great people and great hunting.

Thanks again for the wonderful show.

Please renew the attached subscription for my future son-in-law Dean. He absolutely loves your magazine; as a matter of fact he said it was the best birthday gift he’d ever received when I initially subscribed to it for him!

Since he started receiving the subscription he and my daughter Holly went on a hunting expedition to Africa and they loved it! Dean is an avid hunter and it has always been his dream to hunt in Africa. They went after attended a hunting/travel seminar put on by your magazine in Toronto and a picture of the two of them was printed in the next subscription! They were so pleased.

Anyway, Dean had seven kills in Africa and I believe they are all going to be hung in their home except for one which a table is being made out of the upper portion of the animal.

Thanks so much for such a wonderful magazine; it’s made him very, very happy!

Yours truly,

My family and I have had enjoying your publication here in -20C Canada. Your new magazine is wonderful.

Also, you can tell your advertisers that our one magazine will be kept for at least a year, and will be read by our many hunting friends who pass through our home.

We are also going to go to one of the places for a hunt this year. We were at one this year’s Toronto Show and loved it. My three males will love your next event!

Best wishes

Thanks for the update on next year's shows. I'll try and make the Calgary Show so I might miss the Toronto event.

I've been to all your shows, and I did arrange a hunt: with Die Keiler, who I met at the first and second show. They are a great little outfitter company and I strongly recommend them.

Again, thanks

Thank-you for bringing the AHG show to Toronto, Canada in Jan. 2011. After attending the show in 2010, I went on safari in May, with 2 different outfitters, in 3 provinces around South Africa, collecting some hard earned trophies, as well as having a blast. Well done on a perfect place for discussing and planning african safaris.

The personal feel of the show, as well as the convenience of having a bunch of first rate outfitters, all under one roof, made the " african safari experience " all the more exciiting. For myself, half the fun is meeting the different outfitters and planning the hunts. Nothing confirmed this year as of yet, but I have a few hunts in the works with Clayton and Russel, as well as a few others, and will keep you posted on the outcome. I look forward to your show this year, and will see you in either TO or Calgary in 2012.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me Marion's contact information, had only 6 days unbooked, had a difficult time trying to get something finalized with a couple of other travel agents, she came through with "flying colours" and has booked me into what I think are some great bed and breakfast spots, looking forward to seeing the elephants in ADDO National Park, sounds amazing!!!!

I was just wondering who won the prize to go to Africa on a hunting trip...I was there and loved it. Do you intend to do it every year? I would attend it yearly

I have been to all three in Toronto and each one is bigger and better than the previous one.

However, I must say I have been disappointed by how few of your exhibitors have followed-up with me after the show.

I think I gave my name and e-mail address to everyone I spoke with, and I spoke to a lot of people. With several, I asked for details on specific packages or options and was told I would be contacted, but I have not.

One exhibitor soon sent me a note when he returned to South Africa and has sent me his newsletter since then. While he was not my favourite, it is nice to hear from him.

I have sent e-mails myself to others and they were responded too.

The outfitter I plan to use sent me an e-mail before the show started. We had talked the two previous years and he basically just said, "Hope to see you at the African Hunting Showcase." I was very impressed by this and basically that tipped things in his favour.

E-mail is such a cheap and effective means of comunication there's really no excuse to not use it.

Do let you exhibitors know the importance of following-up with hunters. I also think next year, many others would be impressed by a "Hope to see you again" e-mail.

Thank you.

Greg and I wanted to say thank you again for helping us with our trip to South Africa. Without the show in Toronto, we would never got the chance to meet you, Sakkie (Africa Field Sports) and Anne (Air2000).

Our trip was amazing. From the sights to the people......you truly have a beautiful country. The trip was so much fun, we have already booked another one in 2013.

If anyone every wants a reference for an adventure in South Africa, please don't hesitate to contact us!!
